I love this character portrait. She's sexy and well-designed with just a hint of intimidating. She'd make a great Sister of Rapture (see my group, right). What I really like about it is that it's 3D art that doesn't LOOK like 3D art. This could easily be digital OR acrylic paints and that's always a good thing in my book.
Dude, I'm digging your work a lot (and I usually shy away from the Poser-based stuff -not that I think it's "cheating" or any such nonsense, it's just that so little of it is really artistically interesting). I just added a whole slow of them to the SoR inspiration folder and even downloaded one (Valdris, in full armor) as a potential basis for a future Pathfinder character. Obviously, I like your character design skills an awful lot. If you haven't spotted it yet, I'm holding a "Design a Sister of Rapture" contest on the group site. I'd love to to you enter it!
In other news, if you're interested in doing some commercial work, I might be able to throw some your way in the next year or so. I'm currently putting together two new SoR supplements that will both need a lot of figurative art such as this, and I think you'd be good for it. It won't be for a good while yet (we're still in the earliest planning stages), but I'm hoping it won't drag out too long. If you like, I'll give you a shout when it comes time for production and see if you're available.
Thanks, and I do understand what you mean about poser art: I have the same issues frankly. As for the contest, I've looked at the contest summary and it intrigues me. I'll read the rules in detail when my head is cleared... goddamn insomnia! O__o
The January deadline should give me plenty of time for it though.
The comercial work does pique my interest, if you have more indepth info about the sort of work you're after then drop me a note and we'll go from there. ^_^
